What do you do at Valverax LLC?
A little bit of everything. On the retail side, I consider myself a custom design consultant from solar ecosystems, new build outdoor rooms to full home additions and more. On the business side, I enjoy educating and managing vendors such as realtors, attorneys, bank lenders, roofers, etc. What makes working with me special, is that I’m able to cover a lot of ground between solar, roofing, and outdoor living. Part of what I enjoy most is interacting with customers, and working with them closely to help them attain a more independent lifestyle.
How did you get into the industry?
I was working in retail sales before this, but it felt more transactional. What I do now feels like I can really make a difference. When I was presented with the opportunity to move to Charlotte to join the team at Valverax. I couldn’t be happier! I love working from the road and building relationships with customers. I also am constantly visiting job sites to gain more field experience and maintain good relationships with my crews.
What do you like most about your job?
I love hearing people’s stories and finding unique ways to connect with them. Being a smaller family based company, we are able to build strong relationships with our customers. We cover a large area, so there are lots of opportunities for me to travel fairly often. The tight knit team we have here at our office is also very supportive and I enjoy that.
What do you want every homeowner to know?
Now is the time to make something happen! Let’s find a way to help make you more independent, for example by powering/controlling your energy supply and prices. Let’s figure out how to expand or make your space more comfortable. Let’s go!!
What are your hobbies?
Music is my life outside of work, In my past life I was also an event DJ. Loved that! I’ve also played lead guitar in a band and thoroughly enjoyed that. Daily, I spend lots of time cooking and working out. I spent several years as a volunteer firefighter, this is something I look forward to in the future. This year, I’ve also been able to travel frequently and feel that seeing different places and styles of life have made me want to travel more.
What's your favorite food?
I love ALL foods except for any seafood, but especially like Mexican/Spanish/Columbian. I could also eat Thai or my family Italian lasagna recipe every day of the week! I typically cook chicken/steak/ground turkey with either rice/potatoes with broccoli/asparagus/corn/peas.
