A 20+ year old curved glass solarium had reached a breaking point, literally. Valverax brought it back to life with custom Four Season Sunrooms panels, preserving every inch of the original design the homeowner loved.
When we first arrived at this home in the Sternbridge neighborhood of Concord, the scope of the problem was immediately clear. The existing solarium had been a standout feature of the property for over two decades, distinguished by its elegant curved aluminum framing and arching glass roof system. But more than 20 years of Carolina humidity, seasonal temperature swings, and Cabarrus County's relentless spring pollen had taken a toll no amount of cleaning or patching could fix. Several glass panels had shattered and were simply missing, creating a genuine safety hazard for the family. The remaining panels showed visible discoloration and clouding that robbed the room of the light and openness it was originally designed to deliver. The gutter and downspout system had deteriorated alongside the enclosure, leaving the whole structure vulnerable to water intrusion.

We installed a new downspout kit to properly channel water away from the structure, protecting the newly restored panels and the home's foundation through every heavy Concord rainstorm to come. The finished room now keeps out rain, bugs, and the heavy pollen that blankets Cabarrus County each spring, while still feeling open, airy, and filled with natural light.
